Part of PCOCO's mission is to coordinate a network of people who are using Nonviolent or Compassionate Communication as part of their work and life. These individuals use NVC/CC skills and principles in their work as coaches, counselors and therapists. A therapist for over 17 years, including 10 years with St. Charles Medical Center, Katy practices at the heart of a vibrant healing arts community in Central Oregon. Katy has also taught part time at Central Oregon Community College. Katy now teaches Compassionate Communication skills in group workshops, both on-site (in-service) and at Three Rivers Center. Carol works with individuals who are confused or overwhelmed, and want to unearth their inspiration from within to begin moving forward in life with greater connection and authenticity. Carol utilizes the Compassionate Communication model which supports us to gain more clarity about your feelings and needs and connects you more deeply to yourself and others. You have the opportunity to be listened to deeply and through that process, recognize that choices abound in your life. With support, perspective and inquiry, you can create a life more aligned with your values and priorities. Clients have the potential to develop a peaceful and loving world within and around them. Together we will uncover the layers of cultural norms and beliefs that no longer serve you, and enhance your ability to connect, reflect and choose who you want to be.
