PEACE CENTER OF CENTRAL OREGON (PCOCO)
Creating a Culture of Peace

Working to create a culture of peace through learning and
practicing Compassionate Communication skills

Welcome to a life-changing way of communicating

The heart of PCOCO is educating individuals and groups in Compassionate Communication (CC) skills that help people develop relationships of trust and respect that lead to cooperative problem-solving strategies. Our vision is to create a local and global community which embraces and uses these skills because they work - for you, for me and for everyone.

Compassionate Communication is based on Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a process developed by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg which creates a vision of the world in which everyone's needs are met peacefully through relationships guided by compassion.

Our mission is to provide you with the resources to learn and use these skills. Consider this your first step to learning the skills, practicing with other students and transforming your life and relationships.

Through communicating compassionately, PEACE IS POSSIBLE!

We believe it,
The PCOCO Team
